Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. Changing community security level

If a community is setup initially to only allow internal access this cannot be changed later to allow external users access. A new community must then be created for external users.

Chat - Ability to send chat message when recipient is offline

fishNET Open Items - Smartsheet.com When opening a new chat with another user the other user must be online in order for the chat message to be sent. Currently this is only available for on-prem customers.

IBM Connections Plug-in for Office - under certain scenario ribbon quick access buttons gets greyed out

Please change how the initialization calls made by connections office plug-in so that ribbon actions won't depends if the ribbon is being visited first.
