HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.

Atom feeds generated by Connections on Homepage or Community recent updates need to contain meaningful names in <title> regarding Files.

Atom feeds generated by Connections on Homepage or Community recent updates do not contain meaningful names in <title> regarding Files.
All other types of entries seem to have proper object names name but Files have the only reference in <link>.

To reproduce it, simply use the link "Feed for these entries" in the bottom of the Homepage.

Every event there is "correct", except the information regarding files.
For example event from wikis: "Administrator commented on the wiki page Internal Wiki" where the Internal Wiki is the name of the wiki.
In case of files, such event would be like "Administrator commented on file" without the name of the file.

There are multiple entries for files. I just found on my homepage e.g.

User A edited a file.
User B shared a file with the community xxxx .
User C commented on your file.

The title of the news entry for a file need to contains the filename.  Note that the XML structure can stay untouched, but the value of <titlle> needs a filename to be inserted.

Could we get some more clarification regarding this issue?

I'm confused as to whether this request is limited only to fixing the atom xml or whether you also want the file names to show up in the Activitystream event that is generated in respective stream.

    Thank you
