Welcome to the IBM Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the IBM Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our IBM Connections page.

Blogs visit configuration is not working as expected

It is described how to configure the blog visits with the hitcount.
ignoreSelfClick parameter.

If this parameter is set to true, the visits of all community members
are NOT counted anymore, if in the blog settings all members are
allowed to write blog posts (which is the default setting in Community
Actions > Edit Community > Blog > "Author" is checked by default).

This setting in this case makes no sense and is not behaving as
described in the documentation.

Even if community members are allowed to write blog posts, visits on
blog posts should count as one visit! Only visits of the blog entry
author (= that is the author of a specific post) should not be counted.

Please fix in a future CR.
