Atom feed \Recent Updates\" in a community always only shows the last 20 updates"

Many people subscribe to the activity stream of a community (\Recent Updates\"), e.g.
If added initially, the last 20 updates are shown. But if you close your feed reader, produce more than 20 updates in your community, and open the feed reader again, only the last 20 updates are shown. We expect to see all updates which occurred during absence. Adding the ps=xx parameter does not bring any effect. Also in the API documentation (http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/appdevwiki.nsf/xpDocViewer.xsp?lookupName=IBM+Connections+4.5+API+Documentation#action=openDocument&res_title=IBM_Connections_Activity_Stream_API_ic45&content=pdcontent) there is no parameter which could fix that issue (at least manually). Please fix."
