HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Hide one's own content in ConnectionsSearch

In the ConNext search it shall be possible to hide his own content from the search results. Best shall be own content shall be hidden by default. When I search I am most likely searching for something I am not the author of.

Currently I have the option to "Rank my content higher" (selected by default). Like this checkbox I would propose a check box to "Hide my content" selected by default. (and remove this "Rank my content higher")

I would like to have the possibility to hide my own content when I am searching for a new topic. But I don't want to have it selected by default. Because most of the time I am searching for things I was working on lately and it is much faster with the "rank my content higher" option.
