Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

It is a big pain that this feature does only work with "internals".
"You cannot connect to this server as a visitor." is by the way not the correct wording for a guest / external user!

Would be very helpful if external users can also work with the plugin. This feature is often asked by our users.
Would save us internally a lot of time and avoid problems, if externals could work with our files directly. These externals often work like internals and invoice us more efforts due to to this very ineffective way of work. Or we have to act as their secretaries.
I fully agree into this. This is the biggest and most hurting gap between internal users (who love this feature) and their external counter parts. Mostly file sharing is popular with external users and made much more easy in case that external users can use the Windows Explorer Desktop Plugin.
