Welcome to the IBM Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the IBM Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our IBM Connections page.

Complete the PINK journey and communicate it better

Last year you said that PINK is a journey. It began with Customizer, but since Jason Gary left IBM I have heard very little detail on what is to come. Maybe you should look at the way Domino #2025 handle its communication. Personally I would like information on the following:

  1. What is the part that you are doing now and what part are you doing next ?
  2. How do you plan to address things like profile sync, metric, etc that is not covered in the current PINK infrastructure ?
  3. How is the progress of livegrid beyond what Maureen show in a webcast some months ago ?
  4. What about Docs, Workspace, Box etc that integrate with Connections, how will it be different in PINK ?
  5. What is the plan for the desktop client / mobile / web / etc ?

The point is I felt that I am left in the dark regarding what is supposed to be a PINK journey. I only know that it has started, but no idea how long it is going to take and where is the ending.

Very important. Companies which started the pink journey need double to three time the hardware of former deployments (some of it temporarily for "legacy websphere" ) so they need a sign that the journey is still going on and if there is a point in time when they can shutdown WebSphere.

    Any news here?

And please don't point to CR3 or 6.0.0.6, the standalone Elasticsearch is the opposite of a sign to the pink journey.
