Welcome to the IBM Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the IBM Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our IBM Connections page.

Agreed. Some Content support the Notify action. All content should support it consistently.

Our understanding is that you are looking for a Connections-based share and notification as opposed to sending via email.  Is this correct?

Ideally - multiple options from a right-click menu:

    • Copy Link (to clipboard)
    • Share Link (within IBM CNX) - shows up in IBM CNX alert
    • Share Link via email (pops up email with link in it)

    Like Quora's pop-up menu implementation

    Yes, this is the idea
and how the guest form the 27. July said, i think this option should be
available at the whole content of IBM Connection: bookmarks, blogs, files.
a consistent at all situations available function.

And the next idea is, if the admin allow it,
send with the link the right to view or edit the content. (like at Google
Drive, if you send a link, you give the receiver at least the option to
    read the content),
even if he is not a member of the sender community.

And the same consistent share ability should be available in the mobile app too.
