The current versions of the Windows Explorer Plug-Ins initially load a maximum of 500 files in case a community or a user has more than this limit. Users request to have different settings and not to use „Get All“ by a right mouse click everything. Please make the limit a configuration option within the Desktop Pluigin. Best case the administrator can control and overrule this one in case that there a performance or other concerns.

The amount of files also could be more flexible. I recently had to discover that I got the message "The operation timed out" when having a bad remote connection. So it would be good to return much less than 500 (recent) files under these circumstances. With a brilliant connection all files could be default.  A number based on the actual connection conditions would be a a good idea. It only needs the user to know that an amount of x files is missing and how to get more (next 10 recent files with a very bad connection).

Seems this worked in the past - where there was an option shown them all.

the best would be if client could actually set the value (500 is a good approximation, but more or less would work sometimes). Additionally also for timeout.
