Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Watson workspace integration

allow some out-of-box integration between Connections (both on prem and cloud) with WW. All people shall be decorated with online presence indicators and there shall be a “WW space” widget for Communities which would link a single space with a given community

    Should be out of the box, not having to buy a third part soft (AppFusions) to integrate 2 IBM products

    AppFusions has built the WatsonWorkspace integration as a community app already- and it works well, including SSO (for IBM CNX cloud - or on-prem too). email info@appfusions.com if you would like to trial the customer integration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr2N0SmMDSQ

    Presence indicators are not available (at least yet - though we could look into it as requested).

    this could be a nice addition espcially if some customers switch from sametime to WWS
