Requested the ability to collapse repeating events with many overlapping entries

We requested the ability to view Community calendar events in the same format as the Notes calendar. One of our major user groups has a request with regard to the display of Events. They have a large community with many overlapping events. The repeating events in the Events widget, displays each repeat event as individual events instead of making them a collapsing view similar to what we would experience in the Mail/Calendar view. We do not want to see pages of an event such as the following: I have created a repeating event till Dec 27 and I have 5 pages to scroll through which makes for tedious navigation. The request is, is it possible to collapse the view of repeating events, similar to what we would experience in the Mail/Calendar view. Also, the sequences is not uniform, and I am not able to tell why some Meetings appear first. Another difference which helps identify calendar events in the Mail client is the ability to color code your events.
