HCL Connections Enhancement Requests

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.

Make it possible to place the Survey app in the (home screen) Community on mobile

We use the survey to get response on the quality of our community and the use of Connections. To enable this we put the survey on the homepage of our community (‘s). This works for the desktop version of Connections but in the mobile app users don’t get the Survey app when opening the community.

We would like to have the possibility to put the Survey in the home screen from the Community on the mobile Connections app.

That makes good sense, we'll review if this can be done.

Which part of the survey app should show up? One actual survey (Featured Survey) or the list of all surveys (Surveys)?

The Featured survey I would say, just as it is being used at the moment in the community overview page where you get the questions of the featured survey there one by one. This allows for doing quick polls etc and should work on mobile too

Great, I was thinking the same. The mobile team is looking into it for a quick assessment.
