Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Make Connections a platform

Please reconsider the way how partners and customers can extend Connections with new apps or widgets. The current ways are to complicated and require large skills in development.

There should be out of box integration with automation tools such as ITTT. Also make node-red a standard part of the product along with some predefined nodes and flows. Include support for low-code development similar to project Livegrid or Leap or the current initiatives in Domino. 

Stimulate evolution of a large ecosystem around Connections with dozens of partners and hundreds of extensions.
