HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.

Ability to @mention all community members while editing a document

Currently by default, when editing a community file (document) in IBM Docs, only the community owner appears listed during attempt to @mention another editor within a comment of a document.  The current getUserList method used during the Docs Editor API call only gathers a list of users who have actually performed edits, thus deeming them editors of the document, to the document.  However, community owners have the option to give all community members editor access to files which may mislead users to believe they are already designated doc editors of a community file.

Request is for Docs team to develop API call that will determine if all community members are given editor access to files and then gather that list of users/editors for the @mention feature used while commenting a document.
