HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.

Have forum reply entry reflect date timestamp instead of "Today"

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create a new forum topic

2) Reply to the topic, save

* Note down the timestamp of your reply

* Wait some minutes

3) Edit this forum reply again, save

* Check the timestamp of your reply. It has been overwritten with the timestamp when you edited the reply

* If you refresh the page in your browser the timestamp is changed back to the original post date and time

ER:

Can this behavior be fixed in Forums? so that when users are editing a forum entry, the "Date(month) XX timestamp" is reflected in

the UI, instead of "Today timestamp".
